Step 1: Rub ... Mix everything in a small bowl and transfer to a spice jar, or small tupperware container. I love using a small mason jar as well. They work great. Will last for 3 months. This recipe can easily be doubled (I always double mine); as I use them for ribs and my smoked pork butt. Note: the thyme and brown sugar are optional; if added, they added a bit of a different type of rub - but, equally as good.
Step 2: Use on your favorite proteins to be BBQ'd or grilled. ENJOY!
