Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 teaspoon Za'atar spice
  • 7 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 ounces mushrooms, sliced, drained (1 can)
  • 15 ounces sweet corn, drained (1 can)
  • 3 cucumbers, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 Anaheim chili pepper, minced
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cut all the cucumbers, tomatoes, onion and chili pepper in small pieces and place in a serving bowl.

  • Step 2: Add the can of mushrooms and sweet corn to the vegetables.

  • Step 3: Add the za'atar and olive oil. (They used 3 tablespoons za'atar, season to taste)

  • Step 4: Squeeze lemons to extract juice and pour over the salad.

  • Step 5: Season with salt and pepper and mix all the ingredients together. They had 3 tablespoons of pepper and 2 tablespoons salt. I'm not doing that just season to taste.
