"I found this recipe at the fish market. I lost it and I am hoping this is the recipe I originally lost. I found this online at Manettas Seafood Market, so I think I might be on the right Scallop Train....lol. I have never made it but would like to try and make it for the family. The recipe states that these Scallops can be served as a starter on their own, or served over pasta, rice or vegetables as a main course."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large pan on medium-high heat until hot; add the scallops to the pan in a single layer.
Step 2
Season scallops with salt and pepper and fry for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and fry other side for 2 minutes until lightly browned and cooked through then remove from skillet.
Step 3
Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the pan, scraping up any browned bits left over from the scallops. Add in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Step 4
Pour in wine and bring to a simmer. Reducing the liquid by about half (about 2 minutes) Add the remaining tablespoon of butter and lemon juice and stir.
Step 5
Remove the pan from heat and add the scallops back into the pan to warm through slightly. Garnish with parsley and chives.
Step 6
Serve over pasta or whatever is your preference.
