"I saw this recipe circulating on Facebook recently and had to give it a try. The original posted recipe called for only two ingredients, bananas and oats, it was really good but I felt it needed a little crunch so the next time I made them I added chopped walnuts and I was quite pleased with the end result. These are not overly sweet so they are a perfect breakfast item. This recipe is one you could have fun with by adding whatever tickles your fancy, like dried fruit or seeds."

This is so easy to prepare...it's chewy and has a crunch from the walnuts and an intense banana flavor...Yum! Made for "What's on the Menu" tag game...

I made these last night so I could have some for breakfast this morning on the fly. They are delicious and such a treat with my coffee on the way to work. I added in some craisins, which I loved! I am going to make these on a regular basis. So much healthier than anything with flour and sugar!
