"One of my favorite salads and so easy to make. Perfect for every night, Sunday dinner, entertaining, or potlucks. Also for a little change, trying adding pears, green grapes, or dried cranberries. It is just easy and delicious."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Walnuts ... I prefer to toast the walnuts, but it isn't necessary. I add them to a dry saute pan for just a couple of minutes until you can smell them. Make sure to stir them often. Remove and set to the side to cool. Once cooled, chop.
Step 2
Salad ... This is about as easy as you can get. Add all the celery, fruit, raisins, nuts, mayo, sour cream or yogurt (I prefer yogurt), lemon juice to a serving bowl and toss to combine. Yes, season with a pinch of salt ... and yes, I do like a bit of pepper - just a pinch. Also, you can add a pinch of sugar as well, but it isn't necessary = just an option. Cover, and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
Step 3
Serve and ENJOY!
