I had to use the substitute season due to availability. I use it on all kinds of foods - not just when it's specifically called for. Usually for Latin American dishes.

Fun facts:

Adobo seasoning is a popular blend of spices used in Mexican, Latin American, and Filipino cuisines. It is often used to season and marinate meat, vegetables, and other dishes.

The name Adobo comes from the Spanish word adobar, which means to marinate. It is believed that the Spanish brought this style of marinating and seasoning to the Americas during the colonial period.
