Wow, made this for 1/26/14 dinner w/cousin and husband and it was absolutely the best. My cousin thought it was as great as the one he tasted many years ago that he thought could not be beat. And, my husband being from German background was licking the plate as well. Just a perfect recipe for roulade. The only challenge is getting a butcher who will pound the round steak nice and thin. I had a butcher do it at the supermarket, but it still wasn't think and spread out enough so I had to do some more at home yet I don't really have the right equipment nor surface area to do it but I managed. I am always concerned about raw meat contamination.
