Yes Please - I haven't had any vol-Au-Vents for years. I used to make & enjoy them they as a special treat. Your photos made me drool & remember good times. Loved our photos!!

Ohh Bergy, I know what you mean! This recipe took me back to when my mum used to make them.
We really enjoyed them the other night, and the memories did come flooding back when I was making them!

Love the photos, also love the golden oldie recipes. This is one that got by me! Now that I know it's shells I need I see this as a great new to me appetizer for holiday weekends.

Thanks Gerry, I bought the large shells, but the supermarket also had small ones for appetizer's!
This recipe is an oldie but a goodie... which is coming back into fashion again I think...lets call it retro!

My mum has a few of these is an old cookbook, I might did out the recipes.
