There are a lot of people and a lot of gifts to hand out in a smallish space. Mom usually doesn't start dinner until late, so it can get quite late if we open everything at one time.

We always save the stockings regardless for the morning.

Carol, I hope you had a great time at your New Year's party!!! I went to a Winter Wonderland Wedding complete with fireworks and it was the most amazing wedding I have ever attended... I hope everyone had a great Christmas and has a very Happy New Year!!!
