A quick check over at the weather network while a chilly morning see we will have warm and sunny later this week. That had me over to you- tube for my 'Garden Song' one that always invigorates come spring rains and May around the corner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2m0LewjkO4s

A feels like a minus 2 start to the morning, sun is shining which has me hoping to see to warming. Have given over a shelf beside the computer to Missy Momma who take turns sharing with Baby, have to love how they all manage to find their special spots and hidy holes!

Love your Jean Cocteau quote Patty!

Sooooo understand your quote Gerry!!! Happens here a lot and just when I need my fur baby! Amazing pets!

Never did get to spin yesterday but will try again today! Off to town tomorrow to get my hair cut and have a mammogram. Fun times!

I'd give everything I own, if it meant I could keep my dog/cat forever!

Patti having two furbaby loves once again up in years and so loved your quote echoes my thoughts. As for today not the sunny I was hoping for but rain showers are very welcome to freshen and help the greening. Will go with the flow.

Love this quote but have to add also amazing is there are humans we connect with that have that same connection ...
"The amazing thing about having a dog is even though neither of you speak the same language you develop the deep connection you will never have with humans"

Other than a bit of drizzle no rain yesterday, siting at 0 this morning with sun shining has me hoping we are headed to warm and sunny as has been predicted the past few days.

Hope your day in town went well Patti!

We are sitting at 28C right now. Just came in from working with Ella. I do not do heat well. So I am resting and drinking lots of water until I need to make dinner.

Everything went well yesterday! Got 'er done! Told my hairdresser I wanted a radical cut...told her what I wanted and she gave me the best cut ever! Then went to visit my friend in Carefree Manor and then off to the mammogram in the mobile clinic. The first words out of the nurse's mouth was....I love your haircut!! DH only said "It is a lot shorter." Sigh!

Just LOVE...that is what is says in The Book!!!

Getting the fencing stuff gathered from our property this morning. Ella and I are building it for the chickens.

Well...we got the pen built in 3 hours! Collected everything from our property! Even put up 2 boards in the pen to hang produce from..so they can peck at fresh veg. They will be very happy hens. Looking forward to spinning again outside with them. They make me so happy.

Enjoy this beauteous Sunday!

This morning's quote has me thinking of the Newfoundland fishermen! Brave men they are!

Happy to hear your spring projects going so well Patti. We too had a lovely weekend, as it turned out Saturday was a perfect spring garden day but we opted to follow through on our 'mom and daughter day to the city' designated as a rare 'no list day' which we enjoyed.

Toured through a number of garden centers to get ideas for our summer gardens, so happy I found the the white 'Gentle Shepherd' daylily to complete the grouping I started last fall and a couple packs of one of my favorites the very fragrant purple 'Sugar Daddy, will continue to look for the knock your socks of fragrant Priscilla Petunia for my doorway basket. (one that winters over if one has the space) A wow of a hot day yesterday and a cool down feels like 8 morning, likely a drizzly rain day which I think our gardens would appreciate. Will proceed as the day allows!
