I think we are finally getting spring here on the prairies. The sun is shining and we are at 5 above looking to 19 (66 Fahrenheit) More wind in the forecast which may curtail the much needed outdoor cleanup. Yesterday transplanted some lovely prairie hardy Foxgloves thanks to seed passed along from a generous horticulturist friend as well as the tall white very fragrant nicotianas which are not available at the nurseries. Yes thinking spring and looking to hear and see pics from those who are well into your garden season!

I could really enjoy that 80 degree weather! We have had a few warm days but again either windy or chilly. Fortunately, we had a warm weekend with family in extending the outdoor seating area, yesterday ordered a couple more pallets to bring the patio stone to the front walk, now that recovery time is progressing it will make for a safty plus. I have to wonder how winter can make for so much cleanup time!

Can't wait to see the spring flowers open and the roses blooming Ellie, a late spring here see my spring bulbs just coming up and roses have still to leaf! Circumstances as they were that two year slow down have my vines needing serious pruning. Got a number of them done yesterday but not sure just how high I should be climbing for the one that is now wanting to climb up the roof of the garage! Also got most of the paving blocks done in my little greenhouse using the smaller 18 by 18, a project that I planned to do last fall. Super busy here, has me thinking I need to get out my crockpot and have that evening meal waiting for me. Back to raking off the winter fall of the pinecones and debris.
