Cat in a Can!!
This morning I forgot to throw away the empty dog food can before I left for work. Walked in this afternoon to the sound of clanking.... the cat was stumbling around with the can stuck on her head!
Thank goodness there was plenty of room for her to breathe. But her dignity has suffered greatly...

OMG, Kate -- I'm glad your kitty is ok. It is a funny site to picture in one's mind, but the kitty could have panicked and gotten itself into real trouble. Hopefully she/he wasn't stuck for too long.
We almost lost one of our cats -- we came home just in time. I learned a lesson from it that I'll pass along. We had some shrimp for dinner and it was in a plastic bag. I threw the bag in the trash -- Chi, loving any kind of seafood dug the bag out of the trash and got the bag stuck over his head. When we came home, he was laying in the hallway with the bag over his head -- I thought he was gone. With some fresh air and extra lovin' he was fine. But, just as your kitty probably did --- he surely used up one of his "nine lives" that evening. He went on to live for many, many more years!!!!
It was a stupid thing for me to do -- I simply didn't stop to think where that bag might end up.
