I am going to have surgery and will be laid up for about 2 months and need a few things..
Short notice for this surgery.
I was wondering...
I have a few favorite soup recipes that call for 1/2 & 1/2. Can these soups be frozen with the 1/2 & 1/2 already in it or is it better to add it after the soup has be thawed out?
Also looking for easy recipes to prepare and freeze using skinless, boneless chicken and for beef.
They need to be easy to heat up later.
I would look these recipes up but I can
t seem to find the freezer section.

I would buy a lot of ground beef and cook it then freeze it there's lots of really easy ground beef recipe that take little time to prepare. You could also cook up pasta to aldente about halfway cooked and freeze it. I have froze creamed soups with success. Good luck with your surgery!
