Same; stay safe shadows.
For all those traveling ... same too. Some nasty weather, especially on this very heavy travel day. Not just the east coast; but some out west as well.
Hope everyone has a fantastic Turkey day! For those in the US; and any one else who celebrates the holiday.

Well, last night it was supposed to begin snowing here....and lasting thru tomorrow. I didn't go to bed until 4am, and as of that time, it was not even cloudy out. Today it has been crystal clear out, but still a bit cold....up to 40F(4.4C). Still, snow is predicted for late tonight, and most of tomorrow. But, the 4-6 inches called for yesterday has become 1-3 inches, so we may see a white T'giving :D That's fine with me, as there's going to be a quick warm up early next week. I'm just praying for a much warmer winter than we experienced last year.

Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday!!!

It was in the 70's here today...50's and clear tomorrow.
We spent the day cleaning the oven. I'm embarrassed to say that when we moved in, I just didn't want to deal with it. Between myself and DH it looks somewhat like new and the smoke alarm doesn't go off when the temp is over 350.
Safe travels and happy eating my friends.

Storms are so hard to predict. My friends were supposed to get snow too. None; but, my other friends were NOT supposed to get snow. 6". Living in FL, that is so normal. 100% chance of rain ... 5 miles north and east. FLOODING, and me nothing.

At least, you didn't get any rain or snow.

Today, cool and rainy; stopped around mid day. Mid 60's tomorrow and low 60's Fri. That is Winter for us. Wet; but, needed the rain. T'day ready, so relaxing.

I feel very bad for those traveling.

We're not going to get snow--maybe flurries tomorrow but I won't cry.
We got over to Trader Joe's today for a few items, and then went to Pipkins, one of my fave farm markets. They actually had some nice cukes so I picked some up. I'd been wanted to make some more of Bergy's Danish pickles to have for Christmas, but all I have been coming across were pretty limp and funky. These are nice and fresh and hard as a brick bat. No give at all. :)
Tonight I am on to cooking prep. Will be up late, enjoying myself in the kitchen.
Y'all have a great Thanksgiving wherever you are. Any excuse to roast turkey is fine by me. :D

Had our first real bit of winter yesterday - 6" snow and very icy roads. Temp going up to 11C above so it will all melt. Then next few days it is dipping to below freezing.
I sure wish the best for you all for your Thanksgiving. The forecast that I read here it doesn't sound too promising. Stay safe!

I hit walmart this am ... only because I am so prepped. Doesn't always happen. But, got some cat stuff, and xmas decorations. Hardly anyone there - it was great. In an out in 15 if that.

I lit my tree last night at everything worked, decorated - 3 hrs later 3 of the 4 strands, gone. Tried lights and fuses. Nothing. Bought 4 new strands today. Also, some inside decorations.

This week will be outside work.

Anyways, ham is done; turkey not in until 2; it is small. Other than the beans, it is a reheat event; so. Football soon, and beer on tap. Time to do the tree and sit back all!

We did get a bit of snow last night! Two inches, but that's more than enough to turn the world into white. It's still only 30 F(1.1C), and since it's 2pm and flurries are still flying, I doubt it gets any warmer today. I have no idea what the roads are like, and just glad I don't need to get out. At least it's not the 5 F (-15 C) we got down to last Thursday morning....THAT was winter with about 1 inch of snow.

Kc, sounds like you've got a good start on Christmas! WMRT is actually OK when the throngs aren't there with all their kids in tow!

Happy Thanksgiving to all in the US....and all others who might be celebrating our Holiday!

Plans changed here which has me not celebrating Thanksgiving along with our neighbors and friends to the south. I can almost taste that turkey and dressing! Love turkey but the ones in my freezer are way too big for one. Maybe on the weekend?

I am sorry there is the weather happening out there making it difficult for many of you. Wishing you all safe travel and happy family time. Just cleared all the walkways and guess what - starting to get nasty out there, snow and blowing snow. Good thing we have our Thanksgiving in early October!

Sue, happy you found those cucumbers, you are going to love those Danish Pickles of Berg's. I have two jars saved for Christmas and New years!

Happy Thanksgiving! :)
