Thanks for the Pancakes & Waffles thread! 8-) I adore pancakes and waffles--they're so easy and quick and fabulous (and there are lots of wheat-free versions)!

And I'd love to see a separate board for baked goods made with baking powder/baking soda; but if it takes awhile for that to happen, that's OK. Recipezazz is a work in progress!

Ok, the holidays are over . . . what is everyone baking? I just got a new waffle iron so exploring some recipes. Also mixed up a batch of my SFO Sourdough bread . . . have guest coming this weekend so want to be prepared!

made a blueberry coobler the other day and slathered it with vanilla ice cream, sorry no will power here :oops: :lol:

It's a Waring . . . the kind you flip over and it was only $39, seen them elsewhere for $79.! DH's first question . . .waffles tomorrow?

Di I made this last Spring and I've been dreaming about it ever since, my store has strawberries in, go figure strawberries in January? :lol:

Geez where is everyone . . . not to hot to bake yet is it?

We've been traveling a bit so I've been MIA for awhile. Now back at it . . . so far this week I've baked donuts, made rye muffins and just baked my first loaf of Pain au Levain (French sourdough bread). It uses a mixture of wheat and white flour. Anxious for it to cool so I can try it! If it's good I'll post the recipe. DH is trying to lose a few pounds, so I'm looking for healthier alternatives. Anyone have some to share?
