As per our agreement Lee I did them in the oven MMmmm. I can just see this recipe done on the Barbie!

Thanks a bunch Bergy, I love the pics!!! :D

These work great on the bbq, because they are cooked over indirect heat ;)

Bea both photos make those recipes look so tempting, great job!

Bergy I have made these on the grill (well actualy in the coals) and they are wonderful. Your photo makes them look so good!

We had a great Thanksgiving get together and the outdoor kitchen came in handy.

I made a smoked ham (from scratch) http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/maple- ... atch-10721 It was so good. I will never again have a store-bought ham. Now that I know how easy it is to make, it will be made on a regular basis.

We also deep fried a couple of turkeys. Boy did they turn out juicy, mmmmmm http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/deep-f ... rkey-10722

Image

And one of our camp neighbours brought this lovely leg of lamb, she has treated us to this previously and I just had to have the recipe... http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/glenda ... lamb-10723

These are just the dishes that were cooked outdoors. We had loads of sides with this which I posted to the Pot-Luck forum. http://www.recipezazz.com/forum/viewtop ... 16#p118216

I am really enjoying this event, but wished more people would have participated.

A few more pics of the outdoor festivities

Each child carved a pumpkin, so cute.

Meal is done, dishes are done, all is put away. Time to PARTY, lol!!
