Back in a bit, got distracted by other things, but close. One of these days I am going to have to try Tuna Noddle Casserole Again. I just remember the old versions which I couldn't even try. Do you have a favorite?

Looking forward to it hun, your menu's ALWAYS rock!
I do the old school casserole very easy, with a bechemel sauce, I use no yolk noodles too. simple, tasty and comforting (making it for FIL this week too, figured the tuna is great protein for him..next week, going to have to start getting into more soup meals as his throat is beginning to bother him)

Thx
See I might try that, the old school or OLD recipes used soup and potato chips and YUCK. I think and updated version would be nice. I love tuna and I do use the NO YOLK noodles too quite often, I love them.

Yea..Hubbys fam used to make theres like that too, and although its not bad, I personally grew up with really great (imho) tuna casserole, bechemel, limited salt, pepper, noodles and then baked..VERY simple, but sooo tasty GF

Roasted chickpeas sound very good. I bet my daughter would like those.

Haven't even thought about my menu yet much this week - I have been bogged down with bad allergies and don't have much of an appetite. Was glad for the weekend alone (dd is off at her dad's) so I could just rest.

Tonight I had a ham sandwich panini using leftover homemade potato garlic bread (my own recipe) and the rest of dd's lunch meats. Tomorrow will probably be soup if I am still feeling bad. I'll post back later if I figure out a plan tomorrow.

Roasted or pan sauteed chick peas are wonderful. I love making them with a little garlic and red pepper flakes in a saute pan. Great snack food or food for a party. Anytime I host a party I always put out olives and nuts, they always seem to go. I started doing chick peas a few years ago and they are always the first to go.

Excellent on salads

great menu's for the week
Misa, the roasted chickpea's sound yummy. Salad toppers like that really make it stand out.
Heather I bet the ham pannini hit the spot. I have been thinking lately I can't wait till the weekend after Thansksgiving, for a pannini....turkey, provolone and some cranberry sauce....yum!
Kim, I am taking your recipe for the CHeese Soup and running with it. It would be a great one for FIL in a few weeks. I will let him know that its from an original Michigan Girl :)
