Acadia too's strawberries

Post by Derf » Wed Jun 05, 2013 5:01 pm

I love that some one else does someting the same as me
this is the way i have always fixed strawberries as soon a i get them home, cus it leaves them ready in the fridge ready for any use i need. mostly for just plain eating  but good to have them ready for desserts or over ice cream etc., ready and waiting, but never waiting for long
The only difference is that i use Splenda which gives a very nice light glaze.

Yum! Those look really delicious!!! I make my husband’s strawberries the same way for him too. But then I also have to squish/mash the strawberries after I add the sugar so he can have lots of juice on his shortcake. I like to eat my strawberries plain, with no sugar. :)

Gorgeous colour and they look so tempting. I hope our local ones will be here soon - such a difference

After seeing these pics, I'm going to have to get
some strawberries this week-end. :D
And my local Aldi's has them for .99 cents. 8-)

Great looking pictures! The link you have to the recipe does not work for me!

strange it works for me but here is the long link, hope this one works for ya
http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/acadia ... rries-9743

it's the way to convert the recipe number to the recipe title as a link...

# recipe 9743 but with no spaces

#recipe9743

I'm finding it quicker than going to the recipe and copy/paste the address.
