Creamy Stove Top Macaroni and Cheese

I really, really needed some comfort food tonight, and this totally fit the bill. I halved it, but still used 8 oz. of cheddar, and threw in some chili powder instead of Tabasco because I'm OUT of Tabasco (which boggles the mind).

Now that is the way Mac n` Cheese is suppose to be prepared. Yummy! I can not understand why recipes call for making this delicious creamy dish then adding a bunch of other stuff and baking the life out of it...just saying ;)
