New recipes I have tried.

Both of these were really tasty!!

dienia d's #recipe35567

This is my kind of burger!!! I added a slice of sweet onion and used mustard instead of ketchup. Loved it.

I'm Pat's #recipe15257

I toasted the bread and warmed the pastrami in the microwave instead of cooking this on the stove top because I wanted to add tomatoes and didn't want them soggy. Other than that, I used all the ingredients as listed. This was fantastic!!

Those sandwiches look yummy Bea! Love both burgers and pastrami, though now that I have congestive heart failure I have to watch my sodium, so when I get pastrami, I have to soak it for a couple of days in cold water in the fridge, to get all the salt out... Sounds crazy, but it allows me to have it... I usually cook mine in my Nu Wave to dry it out somewhat, then add the cheese on top with lots of mustard. Will have to try these sometime!

So funny you say that Patti. You know me, I am usually a pork and chicken kinda gal and the occasional steak. But I had to add red meat and get this "GLUTEN" for medical procedures I am having done next week.. I am sooo uncomfortable with all this and looking forward to having this "diet" behind me. 'Cause my behind is not liking any of this

Oh my word Bea...I can't even imagine you having to eat gluten again!!! That is not pretty. I have family members that are either a celiac or have a big sensitivity to gluten so I know how it affects them. Hopefully when the procedure is over...that will be the end of your gluten days and you can get back to normal very soon! :-) My thoughts are with you!
