Banazai Burger

Post by Bergy » Sun Mar 10, 2019 10:59 am

I took a couple of liberties with this recipe - I had a tin of crushed pineapple on hand that I wanted to use. I pan fried the burgers. Used 10 oz ground beef for 2 burgers. Because crushed pineapple is very moist I drained it well before marinating the patties. When the patties were almost done I put the pineapple on the pan for a couple of minutes then assembled the burger following the recipe.
Lovely textured, tasty burger. It will be made again.

Sorry the photos aren't better!!!

Because of some of my meds I can not eat pineapple nor grapefruit.

Ahhh now I understand. I was on some med ages ago where I couldn't eat grapefruit. I really missed my Sunday grapefruit. I am happy to say that med is gone & grapefruit is back!
