Almost TwisSis's Chourico Cavalo

Post by Bergy » Sun Jun 17, 2018 1:37 pm

TwisSis you will never recognize this as your recipe so I m not posting it anywhere except here. Let me explain - The chorizo sausage I had was one large one so I sliced it. Next I had it in my mind that I was making an omelet this AM so I whizzed up the egg before rereading the recipe. Whoops now I reread the recipe and saw they were supposed to be fried eggs Mmmm. Instead of a bun I used Sunflower Bread toast. See what I mean. Other than that (ho ho) I followed the recipe and it was wonderful Started out as TwisSis's Chouricvo a Cavlo- Chorizo on Horseback (A Sandwich for every Meal) .., There was NO horseback here - not even a piggy back . Sorry !!! But I sure enjoyed it!!!

You are too cute, Bergy, & I'm very pleased you tried the recipe. You should know by now that I often make recipe chgs dictated by ingredient issues here in Iceland or health issues for Siggi post kidney transplant. So pls feel free to post your pics & review to the recipe. Thx for both & your interest in this recipe. :D
