Oh my, that looks good Pat. It reminds me of back in the days when my Sis lived in Clear Lake City just outside of Houston. When I'd visit, we'd grab their buckets, etc ... Go to the coastal areas where the fisherman sold their shellfish catches ... And have a big seafood boil like they do in Louisiana. We can't get crayfish here, but I'll be looking at this recipe when I can find prawns or lobster.

Bea same here but we got these crays on a super special and they had been in the freezer for a coup le of months but were still oh delicious, would normally left for a special occasion but the way they were packaged they had pierced the packaging and had a touch of freezer burn so decided to use them up ASAP.
Re: Crayfish/Lobster Mornay
You really made the best of that seafood - I can't wait to see the recipe.
Oh yes Lobster , crayfish, Prawns etc are very very expensive here too. But we do need a treat now & again.
Pat every time I visited Australia I was taken to a Greek restaurant just outside of Curruimbin, Queen. and we always ordered Greek Bugs - they are some kind of river crustacean and are fabulous. Do you know what they are?
