If all goes as planned ( wife buys what I ask her to ) I am going to be smoking a ham some time this week.

Finally got to smoke the ham yesterday in all the wind and cold, turned out fantastic! Photographs to follow soon.

Have to love home smoked meats, here enjoyed son's smoked sausage and bacon over the holidays ... and an assortment of smoked cheese. So good!!

Looking forward to pics of your smoked ham.

Double smoked ham.
This is a store bought smoked ham that I coated with horseradish mustard, black pepper , salt and cayenne pepper.
I let sit at room temp for 2 hours then smoked with hickory for 3 hours @ 225°F ( using heavy smoke ).
Even though the photos are not that great the taste is amazing, my wife kept eating it as it was sliced ! :lol: :D

Forgot to mention that I used beer in the water tray of my smoker for this!.
