very sad

:( I am very sad to see that almost no one seemed to cook outdoors this season! :(
There is still time to get out there and cook and share it here with us.
This is prime smoking season! 8-) ;)

I didn't do as much as I usually do but when I did, it was delicious!! It's been a busy year here, way too hectic for me. I'm hoping things slow down soon. I still have lots of smoking to do before the snow flies.

Our grill gave up the ghost early on this season and we decided to wait to buy a new one. So we did some grilling on the little portable grill while in the RV but nothing at home. I gotta admit I missed the rotisserie unit, and the new grill must have one.

If I do any smoking during the summer; it is usually at my friends. They have a large barn; and great for smoking in FL. Away from the am and pm showers. We also put a large fan on to cool the temp. Smoking outside in 90 degrees; it is hard to keep it at a low enough temp.

I prefer to smoke in the Fall and Winter here; but, I did smoke a few things. Nothing special however.

However, I did do lots of grilling, almost nightly.
