Come holiday meals I have always added new recipes to our family favourites, it has become a tradition in the making at our house. #recipe1154 has always been the given for our holiday soup. #recipe1022 another favourite, so much so that is is now served along side our #recipe1154 for our evening meal on Christmas Eve – both givens for special ocassions and holidays.

Gerry here is my menu for Canadian Thanksgiving 2014. There will only be 3 of us so that's why I opted for a breast and not a whole bird. Three of the recipes are still private and will be released after I have made them. We will have a crisp German Reisling wine both with the Starters and the Dinner.

Photos and posted private recipes will be available on Tuesday (day after Thanksgiving)

Starters:
Bergy's Olive & Cheddar Canapes http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/olive- ... napes-3205

Dawn's Ranch Dip http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/dawns-ranch-dip-521
served with a platter of baby carrots, broccoli florets & celery sticks

Main Meal"
Bergy's Boneless Fresh Turkey Breast (Private recipe) http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/bonele ... oast-14532

Bergy's Make ahead Mashed Potatoes (Private Recipe) http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/make-a ... enus-14515

Bergy's Side Dish, Turkey Stuffing http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/side-d ... fing-14541

Kittencal's Delicious Glazed Baby Carrots http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/delici ... rrots-3479

Sue Lau's Lemony Minted English Peas http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/lemony ... -peas-9562

Kittencal's KC's Favorite Cranberry Sauce http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/kcs-fa ... sauce-4132

Of course we will also have gravy, butterbuns and pickles.

None of us are really into sweets but I may serve aches platter & grapes

The turkey breast is very special - our local super market butcher does them and they are fresh, never frozen and cut today, then netted. The recipefor the turkey came along with the breast. It is very expensive - the 2 pound breast cost more than a fairly large bird!!

Looking forward to seeing them! :)

It is going to help me finalize, seeing what everyone is doing. I always love seeing everyone's ideas and plans
I have been so busy I haven't given it a single thought, outside of hoping my roasting pan is unpacked and that the new stove is regulated.
I am not fond of moving this close to holidays! :/

Here is the whole dinner in three parts! We don't do desserts as strange as that may seem to many. Threre may be three recipes - the turkey, potatoes and stuffing not yet posted but I am sure they will be up soon
