Haven't made them in years and can't now because my hubby can't have sweet potatoes, but I always used to make Hawaiian Sweet Potato Balls http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/hawaii ... alls-16017. I got the recipe in my old faithful Betty Crocker cookbook I got for a wedding present 50 years ago.

Lovinretirement, I know I have a copy of that Betty Crocker Cookbook (my copy was a shower gift) but that is one recipe I have never made, sounds like the kind of recipe that we would love. A great addition to our Easter thread, thank you for sharing!

Hoping to see more of our members sharing their holiday recipes. :)

Hi!
I made one memorable Easter meal many years ago and I notice I have not posted any of those recipes on Zazz. So now I have a project :D
What I do have is this recipe, that I love, that is an after-Easter recipe, because you get to use all those colored eggs and your leftover ham. It is a classic in our family.

Love a good quiche and yours sounds like a classic only wish I could get the DH to think along the same lines.

LOL.
Pat, change the shape, make it square and change the name...call it "Manly English Breakfast Pie"...he might fell for it.
Some day I'll tell you how I made my ex-husband (and an ex boy friend) eat tripe.
And they loved it!

No problem getting the DH to eat offal but I make a lousy tripe but I used to love Dad's when he cooked it but wouldn't eat Mum's. The DH will eat quiche but only once in a blue moon just not a big fan of it yet he loves my rice custard essentially just baked egg only a little sweet.
