We'd love to hear about what you have canned or preserved this fall.

Better yet, post some pics! Image

well I haven't preserved anything but I did make some refrigerator pickles, they are still in my fridge developing in flavor, I'm not sure how much longer I can wait for them though  :P

First off let me say those photos are very pretty and very yummy looking. As for me, I have pasta sauce, sweet pickles, dill pickles, dilly beans, beef vegetable soup, chicken vegetable soup. green beans, jams and jellies. yet to come, pinto beans ( I can some for the ease when needing dry beans) Peaches, Beef and chicken. It will be awhile before my canner can be stored away. That is always a fun time. Cause no more canning!!!

Since I have an abundance of raspberries, I"ve been making lots of raspberry jam. I even made a yummy peach/raspberry variety. My sons enjoy it as well and since both will be newly married soon, I'll be making doubles.

The last two mornings we've had frost. My mom/dad have their tomatoes plants covered bc they're still going strong. The next few days/mornings will not be as cold. A tad early if you ask me for frost/freeze warnings. :?
