Late start but Summer is here!
I have roasted, stewed, jammed, chutnied and sauced my way plums, and I still have these left ...Any ideas So much so I am getting physically sick looking at recipes!
I am going to bottle & freeze what is left but I still have this PLUS 5 more bags to go!
I had to pick them before the birds got them, but with the warm weather they are ripening as I type!
I would like more to preserve them than freeze them, but if I have to freeze them I will. But also with this warm weather baking is not a great option as it is too warm.
I know some of you will have some idea's. TIA.

Re: Late start but Summer is here!
Sure wish it was summer here in the northern hemisphere.
About the plums, you could give them to a local homeless shelter. Or call a local church and see if they have a food pantry, and a group of young people to come and pick them.
