Yes, I have, they turn out wonderful, I have a more no cook type, as it is crisper. I use my pickle brine recipe, wash peppers, put into a large gallon jar, pour brine over them and set in fridge. These are great keepers too. If you need the exact recipe let me know.

I have been MAD this year with stuff, and my quince tree has been PROLIFIC! You can see the posts and articles on my blog here for now, http://lavenderandlovage.blogspot.com/

I have been making a variety of plum chutnies, some with star anise as a flavour base, and another batch with Ras El Hanout and a lot less sugar, I think they are going to need to mature for a few months.

Have a huge bag of apples and am contemplating making a batch of hot chilli and garlic jelly, and a real blow the roof off the top of your mouth chutney with all the spices I can cram into it :lol: I love to make chutney, love to eat said chutney too!

They sound wonderful Linds ~ do you remember my Magic Carpet Chutney we ate when you were here? That has Ras el Hanout in it too.......and my Radio Active chutney too!
Plums in chutneys are my favourite, where have you got your plums from?

Plums and apples too from a friend with an orchard - she is desperate to give them away :lol:
