Squealer ( a loose meat grinder )

I used the beef option for this recipe.
comments and edits welcome.

Squealer ( a loose meat grinder )

1/2 pound ground round
or
1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 large onion
2 slices bacon
2 medium sized hot green chilies
2 dill pickle slices ( thick, stacker type )
2 steak rolls
2 slices pepperjack cheese ( thin sliced )
mustard
mayonnaise


Ingredients

Image

chop the onion, pickle and hot peppers. ( use a knife or food processer ) until the consistancy of a relish.

course chop the bacon and place in a skillet over medium heat.

sweat bacon in skillet until glistening and just starting to brown.

add burger and brown.

Image

add relish and cook until burger is well browned.

prep rolls:

split open steak rolls

Image

add mustard, mayo, pepperjack cheese and dill pickle.

Image

fill roll with half the meat mixture and serve.

That sure sounds and looks wonderful Shadows. I wanted to add that you could do all of this on your grill with a frying pan and the side burner and even toast the buns! Great looking meal! Lots of us, want great food, but don't want to heat up the house by even turning on the stove this time of year! ;)
