So I took dinner up to the Birthday boy yesterday and here are the pics.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. The pic of the potatoes/fennel did not do it justice. Sorry!

So now begins the weight loss! So looking forward to feeling better. The winter is long here and I tend to eat for comfort and love cacooning (and right now it is snowing heavily... ). Will start this day with a protein/berry smoothie. That keeps me satisfied for 4 hours. Then will make a pot of cabbage soup and poach some chicken breasts. Then go from there.

That is indeed one gorgeous piece of fish!

On my own here for dinner- I did some reheated soup. Not feeling overly hungry so taking advantage of that. I was wicked bad and had biscuits and gravy for brunch so I bet I pay for that in British currency. ;)
I bet tomorrow I will be as hungry as a bear!

I did have 2 meatballs for lunch; no bread. And, I had fruit and cottage cheese w/my ensure for breakfast.

Dinner, I had soup and a lighter version of chicken salad on a toasted roll. I was a good dinner. Yellow split pea soup.

I did 45 minutes on my bike; and 30 on the treadmill this am. Plus, I did some pilates type of exercises tonight.

Only lost 1 lb; but, I have been drinking TONS of water, but feel better.

Thanks Kim & Sue! :D It was very good.

Had a busy day...finally took down the Christmas tree and decorations...and got it all put away downstairs. Then went and had a nap!

Breakfast was a 12 grain bagel and a wee bit of jam. Lunch...whipped up a simple pizza on a crispy thin crust that DH and I shared. We don't usually eat lunch...but we were both busy today and hungry. And dinner was a bowl of homemade veggie soup. The bad part...had 1 Lindt chocolate! And of course had lots of water.

Yesterday after it stopped snowing...did an hour of shovelling...some up hill (that was fun!)

I had a bean sprout salad for lunch. My right knee is paining me so not much activity today. I am keeping it up and iced.
Lots of water for me lately as opposed to unsweet tea with lemon which is my usual fare. Tightened up the jeans belt comfortably one more notch today. That's a plus. :)

Everybody sounds on track! 8-)

Great honk Sue! :D This is just great!

Made your Cauliflower Curry as part of our dinner tonight. Numbers are gooda for me. Love the fact that there is no fat in the recipe. We really enjoyed it!

I made my Cucumber Dill Salad and a poached chicken breast to go with the cauliflower.

Breakfast was simple...just a bowl of cornflakes with sliced bananas, low fat milk and a cup of green tea.

My Friday number is down 1 pound for the week.

Good for you Sue! :D

I am struggling with carbs! We are in constant battle. And it has only been 5 days. But I am determined to win! Just have to take it one day at a time.
