" No Grains"

Post by Dot » Sun Feb 26, 2012 2:36 pm

Any info on " Grains Free" diet? I am a blood type O. My naturalpath suggested that I do not tolerate grains and feels that is the reason that I cannot lose weight. Any thoughts or info???????????

I just Googled it and there are plenty of articles and suggestions. Many people are doing it by living "gluten free" lives. I do not know enough about it to give an opinion. I know that my doctor recommends just eat less of most foods. Others doctors say other things.

Dot I have read about these types of diets. I wonder if they work also. Do you have a thyroid problem? I know type O people do tend to have bad thyroids more than the rest. Lucky us! :?

Osteoarthritis affects around eight million people in the UK, and is caused when the cartilage at the ends of bones wears away and the underlying bone thickens, leading to stiff, painful joints. Currently, there is no effective treatment to slow down disease progression, and treatment is limited to pain relief and ultimately joint replacement.

I am bit confused about the Grain-free diet as grains plays a vital role in order to make the health of the body though we take very less quantity of it in our lunch but still at least we need to eat. It has its own benefits that work for our bones.
