Those recipes look awesome!
I am GF and have one DD who is too. And lots of friends who are as well. We are a growning community.
It is an incredible relief to feel so darn good now! I always thought that I got food poisoning where ever I ate. Hubby couldn't see how when he always ate part of my food!
I was the weak one from the city!   Not tough enough!
It isn't all that difficult to make adjustments.
I will print a whole list of GF foods that are in every market as soon as the holidays are over. Really busy for a while.
Also will print flours I use and from the companies that I think are the best!
I will post recipes too and photos as soon as I get more free time.
And restaurants who have GF menus!
I have found that many restaurants are incredibly helpful if you let them know that you are GF. Sometimes it is easier to say you are allergic to wheat, barley and rye.
There also is a card you can carry to show service people in restaurants. Will maybe order one so it is easier and people will take you seriously.
Thank you so very much for starting this forum.
Always, Jelly :D

What a great thread to start with, Dreamer! I also love the photos (there should be a *drool* smilie  ).

Here's my favorite holiday entree:

So glad this board got started! We are GF and dairy free. I am also interested in vegetarian cooking sometimes. We have tons of recipes both GF and CF (cassein/dairy free). I have been trying to get them on the database. Unfortunately, our oven isn't working, so I can't make any gf cookies (or any cookies) for Christmas. There are a lot of blogs and FB pages dedicated to gf and cf living. There is a FB page http://www.facebook.com/#!/AllergyEats dedicated to helping you eat out allergy free, with a list of restaurants that have been frequented by real people.

That recipe looks really good, AVL. What are dry rice crumbs?

My daughter-in-law is a vegetarian and it was quite a challenge to come up with meals that she would eat while they stayed with me for a week. So I'll look forward to following this forum and learn about all the wonderful veggie dishes I can make. :D

That's great, Austin! Thanks for the info about rice crumbs. What a fantastic idea. It's great for those who need gluten free ingredients, too.
I hope you don't mind but I created links to your two new recipe books. I can't wait to see what else our members contribute.

Vegan Entrees

I have another vegetarian entree that would be enjoyed by mushroom lovers,

This one is a vegetarian/vegan take on a French Canadian holiday classic
