Those cherries are so pretty! I loved having a cherry tree. When I hopefully have my own home someday, I want to have a cherry tree again. It was such a great thing to have - looked so pretty and gave me such delicious fruit.

Yours look so full of cherries! Wow!!!

Roxanne, that is a glorious cherry tree! I'll bet you can make some amazing pies with the fruit. ;)

So far this week I am doing pretty well on my budget. I am trying to stay under $75 this week, so far spent a little over $50 and might be able to make it to the weekend without any more food purchases.

I decided after taking inventory today.

Next 2 weeks, NO more than salad ingredients. I won't give an amount; but it will only be veggies, cat food, house hold items if necessary, milk, eggs. But NO ingredients to cook with.

Under $20 I am thinking for 2 weeks.

That is my goal.

I'm still on bread, milk and eggs for a grocery list. I'm beginning to see the shelves in the pantry.

Phew - I made it under $75 on food last week! Mainly because most nights I wasn't eating much more than a sandwich or ramen though. Hoping to keep things between $50-75 this week too, although it will be hard as St Patrick's Day is on Saturday and I still have to buy my meat and veggies for that.

Also planning to purge my veggies/fruit bins and work on some whole wheat flour I have an excess of in my pantry.

These challenges are so cool as you gals remind me of things which might be in my pantry and not getting used enough. I know I have wheat flour I should use. Maybe I'll bake some bread today.
