I'm not a material girl nor am I a romantic. Most of those things are nice, but not needed nor or they important to me. Now if you had a seasonal watermelon on that list for a gift, then we can talk! :lol:

For me ...

I would have to say jewelry and flowers.
But NOT roses, a simple fresh bunch of seasonal flowers, and not fancy.
Jewelry, maybe a charm for my bracelet, doesn't have to be expensive.

I would love expensive jewelry, but I really prefer simple. A romantic weekend, not my style, but I would enjoy a day of fishing on the gulf, then cook together a nice dinner with our catch of the day; rent a good movie, bottle of wine and relax.

Sleep in, but I do like a nice breakfast out. Again, NO brunch, nothing fancy, a casual local spot on the beach.

Definitely romantic weekend getaway, hands down! We used to do that for our birthdays, we both had special places that we liked. On of them was a cottage on the lake with a huge jacuzzi. Loved that place :lol: But it seems we can't even get away for one night these days :?
