Going to someone else's place, but I am taking, by request, Cranberry Hazelnut Goat Cheese Log and some kind of dip.

I hope you enjoy the dip Christianna, that is one of my favorites along with http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/dill-p ... ip-dip-486 and http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/moms-veggie-dip-683 which is fantastic with potato chips!!
We are going to sit around and have some finger foods while we watch the ball drop but nothing fancy. It is just DH and I as we are both working on the 1st and the rest of the weekend so early bed, lol.

Well, my friends NY Eve party changed this year. His kitchen renovation isn't quite done. But, he does have a nice covered lanai, deck; and, a small outside kitchen - so, it will be more appies vs dinner this year.
I know there will be shrimp, dips, crostini, 2 bite grilled steak and chicken kabobs. Finger food.
I am taking my whole smoked salmon w/ 2 dips; and, pickle dip/chips - both requested. Always an open bar; but, we can bring our own if we want. It's not a huge group; and, very relaxed.
