What WAS on Your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner 3/9/17-3/10/17
IT'S ALREADY THURSDAY GUYS! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WEEK?
Time Goes By Way Too Quick These Days ...
So, What is everyone up to? I guess the NE coast is going to be getting hit with some snow; so, I guess grilling be be out, lol. Sorry guys - Spring is just around the corner.
Today's Cooking ...
Helping friends move boxes from their storage unit to new apt. She and her dh just bought a new place to fix up. I'm sure we will just order Chinese, pizza, etc.
Making soup for all 3 ladies. Probably 3 containers each (same soup). I'm thinking a creamy asparagus soup; as it is so cheap right now. http://allrecipes.com/.../cream-of-fres ... s-soup-ii/
I add creme fraiche vs sour cream, more herbs; and, leave some of the asparagus tips whole. But, the overall soup is good. Probably some crunch crostini too.

Asparagus soup sounds wonderful!
Tonight I am hoping to try out a new (to me) recipe for a Moroccan inspired stew. I unfortunately missed grabbing a few ingredients, so I either have to find time to get to the store or figure out something else. We already had leftovers and easy meals this week, so I don't really have anything else on hand to make instead. Wish I could sub something for the missing ingredients, but I really don't.

Tonight I made grilled balsamic marinated pork chops, leftover lemon-rosemary spaghetti http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/lemon- ... icken-5089, and a nice garden salad with some of my pickled beets on top.

The Moroccan Stew turned out very good last night. Had no idea what the bf would think, since this was a totally new thing for me to make for both of us. We both enjoyed it very much.
Tonight will probably be homemade personap size pizzas - I make the dough for the bf's normal pizza in the bread machine, then make a low carb dough for mine as well. Salad on the side.

HF, haven't made too many moroccan dishes; but, have a few recipes. I do really enjoy the spices and flavors. So glad it came out for you.
FYI, the asparagus soup turned out really good; I'm probably going to post it with my changes.
Lemony spaghetti sounds delicious!!! But, I love my pasta, lol.

T.G.I.F. I Can't Believe How Quick This Week Went!
Today ...
I have a pot of classic ham and bean soup (senate) style cooking. I will freeze most; but, have a bowl for dinner. I have plenty of fruit too.

Oh, I so love SOS. On toast for me; or a good biscuit. There is nothing better now and then.
