What WAS on Your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner 2/9/17-2/10/15
WE ARE 1 DAY CLOSER TO THE WEEKEND!
Is Anyone Thinking About Valentines Day Yet ... It's Only 5 Days Away! Any Special Plans In The Works?
Today's Cooking ...
Not really - Making http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/quick- ... pycat-7630 to take to my friends tonight. Just a little gift for them.
They are having a small party for their son who is turning six. Grilled pizzas and brownie sundaes; I'm taking a salad - just a classic Italian salad, nothing special. The kids party is Sat.
Their son has good taste - he is already a true foodie - there must be anchovies on the pizza!!

Hello there. It has a been a while since I have visited.
Last night, I tried a new (to me) version of Crockpot Chicken & Dumplings and the leftovers tonight for dinner. It wasn't a keeper, unfortunately. Still trying to nail down a recipe that works for both myself and my boyfriend. The chicken came out moist and tender, but the broth and dumplings were the so-so part.
Re: Valentine's plans. Nothing specific planned so far, probably something involving chicken and chocolate in some form for dessert.

Love chicken and dumplings. Although I've only made them once before.
Welcome back. Don't be a stranger.

Went out with the girls for a late lunch for my cousin's birthday. So I was stuffed from a really good burger that had Greek seasonings and marinated banana peppers, and some crispy fair-type french fries.
So I heated up some leftovers for my husband for supper.

HF, so glad to see you. Yes, been a long time. Last I remember, you moved to the other coast, FL; but, that was it. Hope you guys are doing well.HeatherFeather wrote:Hello there. It has a been a while since I have visited.

Vday, I have a great chocolate mousse that is easy. Nothing hard
But, so, glad you stopped in.
I try to do this thread every 2 days; I have my blonde moments and forget occasionally, lol. But, yes, every other day.
Hope you try to stop in and visit us. Lots of great recipes floating around; and ones to share.
