Shadows love cornish; I have cooked them like beer can chicken, using small juice cans, butterflied and grilled, roasted; or pan seared. Love them. They have a nice rich flavor which I really enjoy. Ever tried potting some and bringing indoors? We do. We have a 1 and a half foot rosemary and a mini-ball basil inside right now. Our thyme plant over winters out side ( it is oner 23 years old ) as does our sage plant. Oregeno and mint die back most winters here in South Central PA.
