I just started The Sunne in Splendour by Sharon Kay Penman. It's a long historical fiction about Richard III; I went to a talk about him earlier in the week so decided to try it. Lots of characters, over 900 pages; seems pretty good so far.

Yes! Every Grain of Rice by Fuschia Dunlop on Chinese cooking, Jerusalem by ottolenghi, Diana Henry's new book (forget the name but something like Change of Appetite), and Remarkably Delicious by Rozanne Gold, also A Girl and Her Pig by April Bloomfield. I love cookbooks!

I just finished The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes, and have just started The Help. Both very good books (but very different from each other).
