No I have just tried the yeat that you proof in water, I was told that the instant if for more advanced bread bakers

Hanukkah 2014 begins in the evening of Tuesday, December 16, I'll be baking but sadly not with yeast I wish I could do better baking with yeast, I've tryed many a time but my bread comes out like a rock looking at all of these lovely looking photos makes me want to try again

Chana, the idea of blintzes sounds great to me!!! I think I'd probably opt for the applesauce, unless you have real maple syrup ;) Don't worry about "jumping in". We're all here to share what we'll be eating tonight. I know I get some great ideas.....not necessarily always making exact recipes, but...
