Substiuting Dried cherries for Maraschino?

I found this brownie recipe that calls for chopped Bourbon soaked Maraschino cherries. I have some Bourbon soaked dried cherries on hand. Would those work instead? OK, I've been using a pressure cooker for years, but I guess when it comes to meat I've always cooked a whole cut, so this question never occurred to me before. If my pressure cooker says to cook a 3 pound roast for 90 minutes, would I cook 3 chops that weigh 1 pound each for 90 minutes? Or would I ...

This got me thinking. This product called Marco Polo Ajavar is easily gotten in my area. It comes in a mild and a hot variety. the ingredient list says there is some eggplant in it, but if there is you don't taste it. it tastes like ground red pepper paste.
