Almost got it!

Yay! I finally got my camera talking to my computer and uploaded photos! I definitely need photo advice, but now I can't figure out how to post photos in this forum. When you hit the photo icon under the subject line, you get something like . Then what do you do? Sorry for being such a di...

Ah, that's a good idea too! I tried tonight with Lovin's ideas and had much better luck!

Soggy bottom on Apple Pie

I made an apple pie over the weekend. The kind where you slice the apples thinly and toss with sugar and cinnamon and lemon juice, then placed in my homemade shell with a crumble on top. I cooked the pie for 60 minutes at 375 F, but the bottom crust didn't cook at all. I had placed the pie on a cook...

Re: loaf pans

Oh, I didn't even think of that! Makes sense though, my sister makes the same recipe and she has Mom's old pyrex loaf pan. Thank you!

loaf pans

Thank you ladies, I did take Luvcookn's advice and it worked out great. SweetsnStuff, great idea! I just didn't see it in time :)

Not enough soup!

I made some Cream of Cauliflower soup for a potluck tomorrow. But I just realized it's only going to fill my crockpot up about half way. Any ideas on how to stretch it? I have both turkey and chicken stock on hand, but I don't want to thin out the soup. Should I just make a cream of turkey or chicke...

Troubles!

Good morning ladies! I have tried a couple of times of the last two days to post photos, but I must be doing something wrong. It seems like they just get stuck while trying to load. I've been trying just one at a time. They are jpeg 4 mb. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you :) Julie

Re: Our New Site is Live!!!

Hmm...having a hard time wrapping my brain around how the recipe books relate to Favorites vs I've Tried It. Otherwise, I think I will like this site better, although the colors are not very appetizing.
