"My family loves this salad. It provides a protein source for the vegetarian and the meat eaters love it, too. I've adapted this recipe from Chatelaine Food Express Quickies"

Step 1

Whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper.

Step 2

Add remaining ingredients and gently fold together until evenly coated.

Step 3

Serve over a bed of green, if desired.

Mama Mia this is fabulous! Love the flavors and it looks so pretty in a glass dish. I followed all instructions and add half a red onion as others suggested. The combo is delicious and I just found out my hubby likes capers. Made for 2019 World Tour. Served at a neighborhood potluck.

Great salad! Wonderful flavors. We added some chopped celery for crunch and used butter beans and garbanzos. We'll make this often - thanks Dreamer.

This is a lovely bean salad recipe that I will be making quite often. I used only red peppers and added green onions and it turned out delicious. Made for the Recipebook Tag game.

Great bean salad, I made this ahead of time since I knew that I would be short on time. Loved the green olives. Probably would add just a little bit of red onion next time around.
