Quick and easy works for us when we are hungry, and we love this for breakfast! No booze in ours. Just butter and sugar cinnamon or powdered sugar.

Made 2 servings and used cinnamon bread. Oh my word... Such a lovely breakfast! I didn't use the liqueur, and we topped it with butter, and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar then a drizzle of Aunt Jemima's. "Heavenly", said my dh.

I was fixing to have some french toast and remembered seeing this here so I did a search and decided to make it. I cut the recipe in half and had enough for us. It was a welcome change to my usual very simple style of cooking for breakfast. We loved it and will have it many more times!

I can't believe how good these are! What a great new way to fix french toast. I will make these for us on a regular basis. I have had them with syrup and butter, and cinnamon and sugar and butter. I am going to make them next with a fruit sauce on top. YUM!
