We loved these waffles. To combat the "soggy waffle" syndrome, i put them on a rack to cool off a bit after taking them out of the waffle iron. They kept their crispiness that way, and then served them with a dab of butter and a good drizzle of Dienia's Publix Apple Cider Syrup warmed up. Oh-my-goodness, simply amazing!

Yummy waffles the family enjoyed very much. This won't be the last time we have them!

If you like apples this is a must try! Delicious, and something different for a change. I sprinkled chopped pecans on ours at serving time.

Super delicious waffles! My family devoured them at one sitting. Next time I will double the batch. We found them just right using granny smith apples.

Waffles happens to be one of my husbands favorite meals, so seeing he's been working so hard, thought I'd make these for him as breakfast for dinner. Not only he, but my children and I also loved these waffles!! Love the grated apple, which adds lots of goodness. I added a little extra cinnamon, but next time, I think I'll add eve a bit more. These will be made again. Thank you dieniab for sharing. Made it for PickMe Tag.

This is a delightful recipe! To combat the softer waffle, I put the grated apple between of layers of paper towel and pressed it down to remove the moisture and the waffles turned out nice and crispy. DH and I love these waffles which I know will see repeats. Thanks for sharing Dienia!
