"A really special breakfast for that special occasion! Try Irish Cream instead of Amaretto, for a different flavor. Do not use low-fat margarine or soft tub type."

Delish! I had a crowd for the 4th weekend and served this for brunch for everyone. It was a real hit and has been requested for future brunches too. We ate outside on the deck so my apologies for serving this on paper plates. lol. Everyone had 2 slices except for my 4 yo great grandson.....he had 3 slices!. Thanks for sharing such a great recipe, Mike.

Delicious! I could only find the baguette style french bread, but went ahead and used it. Fabulous breakfast. We had leftover flavored butter, and used that on rolls later on at lunch. Thanks for sharing! Made for Players Favorites game.

This was super delicious and quite a treat for this morning's breakfast. The Amaretto adds a lovely touch to basic French Toast and makes it more than just a meal. It was pure heaven. Thanks for sharing your recipe, Mikekey. We loved it! It would be a great brunch dish to enjoy on Mother's Day (with a few chilled Mimosas!).
