Very quick and easy. Mine only took 30 seconds, so watch closely, or you may have hard-boiled egg :) I used the butter/parmesan options. Thanks for this posting this technique.

Very tasty coating mix. Really liked the parmesan in this. I used it on tilapia, which I dipped in melted butter, and then the coating, and baked in the oven. Would be good on chicken tenders, also.

Delicious. And very easy! Mine only took 2 minutes but we have a high wattage microwave. Served over vanilla bean ice cream, on top of a pumpkin brownie. Yummy! Looking forward to trying it on bread pudding.

I have been using this technique for about a year now, after seeing a demo online. Love the crusty exterior and soft inside. A very "rustic" type loaf. It is time consuming, but worth it. Great with a big bowl of homemade soup!

Well, I guess it is true, you can't go home again! :) I used to love this when I was a kid (even though my dad, who was a merchant marine during WWII called this s**t on a shingle because they ate a LOT of it on board ship). I had to look in three stores to find the old chipped beef in a jar. I made the recipe as directed and the recipe is written fine, but BOY this stuff is REALLY salty!!!! I don't ever remember this brand of chipped beef being so salty (Hormel). So although I enjoyed the memories this brought back, I will have to stay away from it from now on, unless I can find a different, less salty chipped beef. But your recipe is well written and easy to follow.

This was the family go to recipe from Betty Crocker for biscuits and shortcake (mom just added a little sugar to the mix for shortcake). Light and tasty and these went great with our soup tonight.

We loved this! I used only 3 cups rice, but kept everything else the same. Great flavor (use the full teaspoon of pepper!) and went great with an Asian fish dish and steamed carrots. I used a mix of dried mushrooms (chanterelles, porcinis, shiitakes and morels), which I reconstituted for several hours.

You stated this is just a good basic recipe, but you were wrong! It is a GREAT basic recipe! I made 2 additions-a stalk of diced celery, and some leftover cooked turkey cut into cubes-otherwise made as written. Thank you for a new after-Thanksgiving soup favorite.

Love the flavors in this. I think this should be kept in the small batch as written, though, because of the moisture in the extract and brown sugar. It might clump up if stored too long. That won't be a problem with me though, because I will be using it often. I did use de-caf instant coffee, so I can have this in the evening.

This is great and very easy! I used de-caf coffee so I can have a nice hot cup in the evenings when it has been getting cold. I also made a jar to give as a gift. And it does taste like a snickerdoodle!

This is really easy and tastes great. I wasn't sure I would like the garbanzo beans in chili, but they were delicious. I used ground turkey instead of ground beef. Went great with some cornbread.

I am rating this recipe on the marinade only, not the cooking method, since I did mine on my counter-top Farberware rotisserie. I will try the cooking method another time, but needed the oven for other things this time. The flavor in this lamb was incredible. Just enough citrus, garlic and rosemary to be noticeable but not overpowering, letting the flavor of the lamb shine. Thanks for a great Christmas eve dinner!

This is a very nice mix. I used it on some oven-roasted potatoes and looking forward to using it on a roast chicken or fish. I put everything in my mini-processor and gave it a few whirls to blend. This also broke up the dried herbs a bit so it is easier to keep everything mixed and I can use it in a shaker top jar.

This did turn out moist as stated, but was lacking something, flavor-wise. Maybe some vanilla or cinnamon/nutmeg? Also, there was no oven temperature given in the instructions, so I guessed 325F.

Pretty darn easy! I didn't have the right size pan, so used an 8x8 pan, and made three layers. That worked great because I also had a 26 oz size can of spaghetti sauce. I used a mushroom sauce instead of meat sauce, as I was serving this with a chicken breast. Tasted great and not a lot of work!

Great combination of herbs. I used dried herbs, except for the rosemary, which I always have in the garden (used 1 tablespoon). I did mine in the oven because I was roasting potatoes and carrots with it, but looking forward to doing this on my outdoor rotisserie during the summer. Also will use the same herb mix (with the garlic minced into the mix) on a chicken.
