Thanks for this recipe, Gerry. I made them today and they are easy and use ingredients that I usually have on hand. After mixing the chocolate with the oats, you have to work quickly to blend it all together; I made half the recipe, so I managed to do it. These are a real treat and you have to be careful not to eat too many.

This recipe has become one of my favorites, and I've made it many times. It's super quick and easy, everyone seems to love it, and it is adaptable too. I add lemon zest to the dough, and often use dried cranberries instead of the cherries, and dried cherries are also good. Thanks for the recipe.

These were really good! There is a minimum of work the day before, so they can be started in the evening in about 5 minutes. They rose nicely in the skillet and were very tasty. I used a whole wheat starter, but otherwise followed the recipe. Thanks G W for posting.

I loved these. I am rating them on the flavour only since I used the bread machine to make the dough. I did have to increase the water quite a bit to just over three quarters of a cup. They tasted great and were easy to make. Thanks for a great recipe.
